American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a WA or compact RN license and recent LDRP experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a Birth Center within the Labor & Delivery specialty
  • Unit includes 20 beds: 12 L&D, 8 postpartum/antepartum, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR, and a 6-bed level II NICU
  • Night shift position with 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week
  • Weekend rotation is required every other weekend
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience preferred but not required
  • Teal scrubs are provided
  • Daily responsibilities include comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including newborn assessment and support
  • Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment with frequent collaboration with nurse practitioners
  • Multilingual skills, especially in Russian or Spanish, are preferred
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, including at least 1 year in LDRP
  • Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring
  • Demonstrated competency with cervical exams, antepartum and labor care, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin administration, and APGAR scoring
  • Must be able to circulate C-sections and catch/receive babies
  • Strong postpartum care experience, from transition to discharge for both mother and baby
  • Scrub experience is preferred but not required
  • Breastfeeding knowledge required
