Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Manager with 7–10 years of experience in data & analytics, ideally with training at a Top 5 consultancy and deep exposure to retail and manufacturing supply chain operations. This is a global role, requiring the ability to collaborate across regions, particularly in Asia (Taiwan) and Europe, to ensure that solutions are scalable and responsive to regional business needs. The Senior BI Manager will guide a small team of BI developers and analysts, mentor junior members, and collaborate hands-on with Data & Analytics Architects and Data Scientists to design scalable solutions in modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred, as communication across global teams and business leaders is a critical part of the role. The Senior BI Manager will lead the translation of global business needs into scalable data solutions that drive operational efficiency, supply chain visibility, and revenue growth. The role combines strategic leadership, hands-on BI development, and mentoring of junior team members. Responsibilities: Business Translation & Strategy · Partner with senior business leaders across the Americas, Asia, and Europe to understand objectives in sales, operations, and supply chain. · Translate global business needs into technical requirements and data models that align with enterprise data strategies. · Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business side of data—ensuring outputs are directly tied to operational and financial impact. Data & Analytics Leadership · Lead the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions that leverage enterprise data lakes (Databricks, AWS, etc.). · Provide clear, compelling data visualizations and dashboards that support decision-making at the executive level. · Establish global standards and best practices for BI development, ensuring quality, consistency, and scalability across regions. Team Management & Mentorship · Manage and mentor BI developers and analysts, fostering growth in both technical and business acumen. · Act as a thought partner and coach—helping junior members strengthen their ability to frame problems, think critically, and communicate insights. · Collaborate closely with Data Architects and Data Scientists, ensuring alignment across the analytics ecosystem. Execution & Hands-On Delivery · Contribute directly to complex data modeling, SQL optimization, and visualization work when necessary. · Guide the integration of BI solutions into business workflows, ensuring adoption and measurable outcomes. · Champion data literacy across the organization, helping global stakeholders interpret and act on insights. Requirements: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or quantitative social science (e.g. Economics) required · Advanced degree or MBA strongly preferred. Experience: · 7–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, &/or Data Engineering, with significant exposure to retail and/or manufacturing supply chain operations. · Prior experience at a Top 5 consultancy strongly preferred. · Proven expertise in designing BI solutions within modern data lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS). · Experience working with global teams, particularly in Asia (Taiwan) and Europe.
