The Opportunity We are seeking a New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst to join our Firm. This position will be based in our New York office (hybrid role). There are multiple shifts available: Weekdays, Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm ET 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm ET, this shift offers a fully remote work model. Weekends and Evenings : Friday – Monday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm or 11:00 am – 7:00 pm ET, this shift offers a fully remote work model. Saturday – Sunday, 9:30 am – 9:00 pm ET, this shift offers a fully remote work model. The New Business Conflicts Clearance Analyst will support the team by conducting thorough conflicts checks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth operations. Please note that the Firm will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Responsibilities Review and analyze conflicts reports to identify potential conflicts of interest. Collaborate with team members and attorneys to resolve conflicts and facilitate new matter openings. Communicate with attorneys and staff to gather information and clarify discrepancies. Validate conflict check requirements with requesting attorneys or secretaries. Conduct corporate research to verify information and understand corporate structures. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure database integrity. Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed. Maintain effective communication and demonstrate professionalism. Manage resources responsibly and comply with firm policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficiency with firm software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to learn new systems. Familiarity with conflicts database software, preferably iManage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and sensitive information. Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience in a law or professional services firm. Experience within a conflicts department at an Am Law 50 firm is preferred.
