Legal Assistant

We are a leading full-service law firm and are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our busy Litigation practice group in downtown Pittsburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment supporting complex commercial litigation, products liability, employment disputes, and other contested matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, shell briefs, and correspondence
• Manage electronic court filings systems
• Coordinate and calendar deadlines, depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations using CompuLaw and Outlook
• Organize and maintain case files, both electronic (iManage/NetDocuments) and physical
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit lists, witness files, and deposition summaries
• Assist with document productions and privilege logs
• Schedule and coordinate travel, meetings, and client calls
• Enter attorney time and assist with monthly client billing

Required Qualifications

• 2 + years of recent litigation experience in a law firm setting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
• Strong working knowledge of Pennsylvania and Western District of PA e-filing procedures
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Superior attention to detail and proofreading abilities
• Professional demeanor and strong client-service orientation
• Ability to work overtime as needed during trial preparation and major filings
