Financial Analyst – Manufacturing

Shape the Financial Future of Manufacturing Operations

We’re seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Dixon, IL. This is a high-impact role where your financial expertise will directly support plant leadership, drive operational efficiency, and influence long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial reporting and cost analysis across product lines
  • Develop financial models to support quoting, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
  • Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning
  • Manage and enhance standard cost systems and conduct variance analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Materials, and IT to streamline MRP processes
  • Prepare monthly earnings packages and contribute to earnings calls
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and internal control standards
  • Mentor and support development of junior finance team members
  • Promote a culture of safety and inclusion through active engagement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
  • MBA or Master’s in Accounting is a plus
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive finance experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong foundation in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning
  • ERP system experience required; SAP preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and presentation skills
